The key is to choose the right technical approaches to product photography. Good planning is key to creating outstanding product photography. One of the most effective methods for expressing your vision is with the help of a creative plan or moodboard.
What is a Moodboard / Creative Plan?
Moodboard / Creative plan is like a collage of photos that visually shows your vision of photography.

What is the meaning of Moodboard?
Creating a Moodboard is a fundamental step for successful product photography. It helps keep the team focused, ensure accurate interpretation of the client's ideas, and avoid unnecessary retakes.
What does a good Moodboard or Creative Plan contain?
- 7-10 strong images, which clearly express the desired atmosphere. Avoid random photos, as each photo should have a specific purpose,

- Basic colors, which will dominate the photos,

- Visual style: minimalist, classic, modern...

Follow us through the simple steps to help you craft a top-notch creative plan.

1. Define Objectives and Message
Before starting to create a moodboard, clearly define your goals and desires. What do you want to achieve? How do you want your products to be presented? How do you want your brand to appear in photos? Defining these goals will help guide your creative process.
2. Select Theme Color Palette
Colors play a key role in creating the atmosphere and emotional response in photographs. Choose a themed color palette that matches your brand and products. It is important to consider the psychology of colors in order to be able to target the emotions of your potential customers.
3. Finding sample photos and programs that help you with this
You can find most of the photos on Pinterest (www.pinterest.com). Great photos can be found by simply typing in the search engine on Pinterestmo “product photographyorproduct photography ideas”.
Photos can be put together in a "collage" in the program as is Canva, or forward them individually.
Moodboards can be created by you (the agency) or by the client.
4. LIST OF RECORDS
Each photoshoot is unique, as each client has different wishes, so we need a LIST OF PHOTOS.
Seznam posnetkov je dokument, ki podrobno opisuje in načrtuje vse fotografije produktov in število fotografij, katere se ustvarja med fotografiranjem.
Some common items to include in your shot list for product photography are:
- Individual products:

- Full shots of each product.
 - Shots from different angles.
 - Close up shots to show details.

- Group shots:

If you want multiple products in one photo together to show the whole collection or how the products fit together.
- Use of the product:

- Photos showing actual use of the product.
 - If possible, show different usage scenarios.

- Accessories and features:

- Photos that highlight specific features or functions of the product.
 - Photos that highlight packaging or accessories.

- Details:
Shots that show fine details, textures or patterns on the product.
- Sizes and Perspectives:

- Photos showing the product in different sizes (eg close-ups, long-shots).
 - Photos from different perspectives (eg from above, from below, from the side).

- Environment:

Is it appropriate to photograph the product in a certain environment or context?
- Color variations:

If the product exists in several colors.
- Size Comparison:
If you want photos showing the product compared to other items or by hand to determine the size.
The list of shots must be submitted before the start of the photo shoot. We do not conduct photography without a previously received list of shots.
You can create a list of recordings in Excel. The more detailed the shot list, the better.
Conclusion:
By creating a creative plan in the form of a mood board and a shot list, you will ensure that the photo shoot runs smoothly and the result meets your expectations.
We look forward to working with you!
